LMS introduced 191 of the new Jubilee 4-6-0 Passenger Locomotives between 1934 and 1936 for use on the express routes between London and the Midlands. They were to be found throughout the LMS region and the final locomotive to be withdrawn from service, 45587 'Baroda' , was working until 1967 only shortly before all steam working was ended by BR.
